First Aid Training Course

Training Course Content

US: 26551 Provide first aid for life threatening conditions L2 C1 & US: 26552 Demonstrate knowledge of common first aid conditions and how to respond to them L2 C1.
US: 6401 Provide first aid L2 C1 & US: 6402 Provide basic life support L1 C1.

NB. US: 6401, 6402 & 6400 Manage first aid in an emergency situation L3 C2 is also available as a combined course but NZQA stipulates delivery and assessment must be a minimum of 12 hours.

This course can also act as a First Aid refresher.  NZQA stipulates “… the learner’s certificate is no older than two years and three months from date of issue, (the course) is a minimum of six hours training and assessment..”.

Refresher unit standards achievements are reloaded as required by NZQA.

Delivery is focused on the types of accidents identified through your site risk management processes.

NumbersUp to a maximum of 12 participants. Additional numbers must be agreed in advance by Mines Rescue and will incur additional assessment and reporting charges – may increase the length of the training day.
Facilities & EquipmentCan be provided on site or at the Mines Rescue Station.
Compliance with RegulationsMeets the requirements of Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016.
Cost$2300.00 GST excl.
Costs include all travel, learning materials, assessment, certificates and reporting.
