US 32158 Demonstrate basic knowledge of New Zealand's Coordinated Incident Management System (Level 3, 2 Credits)
US 29553 Demonstrate operational knowledge of New Zealand's Coordinated Incident Management System functions and structure (Level 4, 2 Credits)
US 29554 Apply operational knowledge of New Zealand's Coordinated Incident Management System (Level 4, 3 Credits)
This applied CIMS training is designed to equip personnel with the knowledge and skills required to apply the principles of CIMS to an incident or emergency response of any kind. It is interactive, practically focused and is tailored to specifically focus on the CIMS process and how it is specifically applied to emergencies in industrial settings.
Case studies are tailored to fit the risk profile of the organisation and local region and focus the groups on their initial response to the emergency and then briefing and handover to the IMT as us established and providing support services to the IMT.
DURATION :
2 Days
NUMBERS :
Up to a maximum of 12 participants. For additional numbers Mines Rescue requires an experienced member of the IMT group to assist the tutor to covering the groups during the live case studies.
Location :
NZ Mines Rescue have training facilities available in Huntly and Rapahoe, with delivery available nationwide in the workplace or other suitable training venue.
