CONTENT :

US 18426 Demonstrate knowledge of hazards associated with confined spaces (Level 3, 4 credits)

US 17599 Plan a confined space entry (Level 4, 5 credits)

US 25510 Operate an atmospheric testing device to determine a suitable atmosphere exists to work safely (Level 3, 4 credits)

DURATION :

2 Days

NUMBERS :

Up to a maximum of 10 participants. Additional numbers must be agreed in advance by Mines Rescue and will incur additional assessment and reporting charges.

FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT :

All participants to attend with all personal protection equipment as required by the site.

Client to provide the confined spaces equipment that the participants will be using in the workplace for the practical component of the course (Mines Rescue can provide a Tripod if required).

Client will provide Mines Rescue with copies of its permit system and examples of permits used for confined space activities as well as any JSAs and SOPs relating to confined space activities so these can be incorporated into the course.

Location :

NZ Mines Rescue have training facilities available in Huntly and Rapahoe, with delivery available nationwide in the workplace or other suitable training venue.

Does not include the reloading of unit standard credits which can be done at additional cost.
