Fire & Emergency Warden Training Course
CONTENT :
US 16799 Carry out the duties of a workplace emergency warden (Level 3, 4 credits)
or
US 18408 Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency warden duties in the workplace (Level 3, 3 credits)
This course provides participants with and understanding of the role and functions of an emergency warden in a workplace. It is tailored to the particular organisation using their emergency risk profiles, emergency plans, evacuation plans, duty cards and tarps. The training includes a simulation emergency and evacuation.
Equipment :
Client to provide access to suitable work areas for simulated evacuation procedures.
DURATION :
0.5 days. Two of these courses can be delivered in a standard training day.
NUMBERS :
Up to a maximum of 12 participants.
Location :
NZ Mines Rescue have training facilities available in Huntly and Rapahoe, with delivery available nationwide in the workplace or other suitable training venue.
NB: This course is often combined with the half day Fire Extinguisher course to be a single day of training.
