Lifting with Mobile Plant Training Course
CONTENT :
Unit 17695 Attach, lift, move, and place loads using mobile plant (Level, 10 credits).
Using mobile plant preparing for a lifts; selecting and inspecting plant and lifting equipment; performing lifts; communicating with dogmen; and attaching and pulling loads.
DURATION :
1 Day
NUMBERS :
Up to a maximum of 8 participants.
FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT :
Client to provide a suitable training room for the theory component. Whiteboard and datashow required (although datashow can be provided by Mines Recue if required).
All participants to attend with all personal protection equipment as required by the site. Client to provide the mobile plant and any other equipment the participants will be using in the workplace for the practical component of the course.
Client will provide a suitable work area for the practical requirement of the course. Client will provide Mines Rescue with copies of its documentation for lifting activities including permits if applicable and lift plans as well as any JSAs, SWMs and SOPs relating to mobile plant use so these can be incorporated into the course.
Location :
NZ Mines Rescue have training facilities available in Huntly and Rapahoe, with delivery available nationwide in the workplace or other suitable training venue.
