CONTENT :
US 15757 Use, install and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems when working at height (Level 3, 4 credits)
US 23229 Use safety harness system when working at height (Level 3, 4 credits)
Additional
US 17600 Explain safe work practices for working at heights (Level 3, 3 credits), can also be completed but incurs additional assessment and reporting charges.
DURATION :
2 Days
NUMBERS :
Up to a maximum of 10 participants. Additional numbers must be agreed in advance by Mines Rescue and will incur additional assessment and reporting charges and may affect length of training days.
FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT :
All participants to attend with all personal protection equipment as required by the site.
Client to provide the height safety equipment that the participants will be using in the workplace for the practical component of the course.
Client will provide Mines Rescue with copies of its permit system and examples of permits used for height activities as well as any JSAs and SOPs relating to height activities so these can be incorporated into the course.
Location :
NZ Mines Rescue have training facilities available in Huntly and Rapahoe, with delivery available nationwide in the workplace or other suitable training venue.
